Born in New York City, Sean McKeon's love of drumming began early with a toy drum his very first Christmas and he hasn't stopped drumming ever since! For over three decades he has dedicated himself to perfecting his solid talent. Having studied various percussion techniques from around the world, Sean has developed his unique style with his own distinct technique that sets both his solid rock and pipe band drumming apart from the rest.
These days Sean brings this specialized drumming to the driving force behind Finn's Fury. With Finn's Fury, and Gael Force, Sean has preformed with the likes of the Wolftones and Irish Tenor, Ronan Tynan, Davey Spilane, Eileen Ivers, The Saw Doctors, Natalie MacMaster, The list go's on Finn's Fury regularly headlines at Irish Festivals throughout the United States.
As the founding drummer behind such rock bands as West of Eden and Rosary Violet, Sean has performed with under ground acts Butthole Surfers, Bad Brains The mighty Mighty Boss tones, just to name a few.
Sean's music and videos and Music have been featured on MTV and Saturday Night Live as well as played on various radio stations. Sean has played venues as varied as CBGB's The Limelight, Irving plaza, Roseland, PNC bank arts center, The Tropicana in Las Vegas as well as the grand ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria and everywhere in between.

As the drum sergeant of the Nassau County Firefighters Pipe and Drum Band,Sean and his son also a drummer, had the honor of performing for President, George W. Bush, at a recent 911 dedication ground breaking in New York. Sean's appearance at this event was featured in the Republican National Convention's biography of the President.
Sean's love of drumming is a constant source of pleasure in his life. He shares his talent and his love by teaching, volunteering, performing and recording.
